The Assistant Manager, Social Media & PR manages and elevates the company's social media presence.
The role covers content strategy, planning, execution, performance optimization, visually compelling brand-aligned assets, and support for PR activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop social media strategies and manage monthly calendars across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Create captions, manage community engagement, monitor performance, report monthly, and provide optimization insights.
- Oversee influencer activity, digital media, content execution, and trend monitoring.
- Design social visuals and marketing collateral, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and identity.
- Coordinate media partners, publications, and agencies; assist with press releases, invitations, and official communications.
- Support internal reporting and procedures, oversee PR coverage on social media, and seek visibility opportunities.
Requirements
- University degree or diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Diploma or certification in graphic design software.
- At least two years of marketing experience at a five-star hotel.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and digital marketing; experience in content management and web analytics.
- Independent project and task management, strong presentation and communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership, customer service orientation, interpersonal skills, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred experience
- Internet Marketing, eCommerce, or Digital Marketing experience in hospitality or travel is preferred.
