About The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a

Assistant Manager Sales - Leisure

  • to join Zabeel House The Greens.
  • The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
  • Execute the sales strategy as directed by the reporting manager to promote sales, identify business opportunities, and achieve annual sales objectives through assigned KPIs.
  • Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts, avoiding redundancy.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of business unit offerings, promotions, market and competitor trends, account share, and customer needs to deliver high-quality service and meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Stay up to date with the revenue budget and targets, managing actual and forecasted volumes and occupancies to meet/exceed established sales targets.
  • Manage sales target reports, implement measures to achieve/exceed targets, and prepare regular sales forecasts for quarterly submission to the reporting manager.
  • Identify new business opportunities, convert inquiries, and optimize existing accounts to maximize room occupancy and achieve target room night sales.

About You

  • The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience within the hospitality industry, with at least 1-2 years focused on leisure sales in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international leisure markets, including wholesale, travel trade, DMCs, tour operators, and online travel partners, with a proven ability to drive room revenue.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and hotel sales systems, with strong analytical and organizational skills to prepare sales reports, market intelligence, forecasts, and business development plans.
