Job Purpose
Support the Audit Manager in planning, executing, and reporting on internal audits of operational departments and shared services.
Assist in evaluating internal controls, compliance, and operational efficiency while providing actionable recommendations that enhance governance and risk management in accordance with organizational standards and international audit practices.
Audit And Planning & Execution
- Assist in conducting audits of operational processes and shared services in line with internal audit standards.
- Perform risk assessments and contribute to the development of audit programs for assigned areas.
- Evaluate processes, internal controls, and compliance, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Document audit procedures and findings accurately, ensuring clarity and completeness of audit records.
Reporting & Follow-Up
- Prepare working papers, draft audit findings, and reports for review by the Audit Manager.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and escalate significant unresolved issues as required.
- Stakeholder communication & coordination
- Coordinate with process owners and operational teams to facilitate audit activities.
- Respond to audit queries and provide support to ensure effective communication between the audit team and stakeholders.
Team Support & Professional Development
- + Support junior auditors in their tasks, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
- + Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance audit knowledge and skills.
- + Promote a collaborative and professional team environment.
