Experience and Qualifications

• A BE or B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• The role requires 10 to 12 years of experience in cryogenic, pressure vessel, oil and gas, boilers, capital goods manufacturing, or fabrication industries.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.
• Experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, and people management is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Production in achieving targets and improve operational efficiency.
• Optimize, standardize, and deploy lean principles, kaizen, Kanban, and continuous improvement practices.
• Develop an annual operational excellence plan for process control, cost reduction, and execution.
• Plan production against monthly targets and project schedules.
• Design training-needs processes for shift in-charges, supervisors, and engineers.
• Implement 5S, Six Sigma, TPM, and TQM practices.
• Improve manpower utilization and reduce rework and rejection through process tools.
• Ensure production meets agreed timelines, costs, safety requirements, statutory regulations, quality systems, and plant procedures.
