Assistant Manager, Identity & Access Management (1138)
About This Role
Job Purpose The Assistant Manager, Identity & Access Management (IAM) is responsible for supporting the operational management of enterprise identity platforms and access control services across the organization. The role ensures secure and reliable authentication services, identity lifecycle management, and access governance mechanisms supporting enterprise systems and digital platforms.
The position focuses on directory services, identity lifecycle management, authentication platforms, and identity governance systems. The role collaborates closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, and workplace teams to ensure identity services operate securely and support controlled access to enterprise applications and services.
Directory Services Administration
- Support operational administration of enterprise directory services, including Active Directory and cloud-based identity platforms.
- Maintain operational stability and availability of directory services supporting enterprise authentication and authorization services.
- Manage directory configurations supporting enterprise identity infrastructure.
Identity Lifecycle Management
- Support operational management of identity lifecycle processes including user provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning across enterprise systems.
Ensure identity lifecycle activities are implemented according to organizational access governance standards.
Authentication Platforms
- Support administration of authentication mechanisms used to secure enterprise access to systems and applications.
- Maintain operational stability of identity authentication services used across enterprise platforms.
Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
- Support operational management of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms used for access governance and identity management.
- Maintain identity governance processes supporting access reviews, access certification, and role-based access models.
Access Control Integration
- Support implementation of access controls across enterprise systems using identity platforms.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure identity-based access controls are implemented consistently across enterprise services.
Privileged Access Coordination
- Support management of privileged access mechanisms controlling administrative access to enterprise platforms.
- Coordinate with Cybersecurity and IT compliance teams to ensure privileged access is managed according to organizational security standards.
Identity Integration with Enterprise Platforms
- Support integration of identity platforms with enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and collaboration services.
- Ensure identity services integrate effectively with enterprise applications and infrastructure platforms.
Identity Monitoring & Operational Stability
- Monitor identity platforms to ensure service availability and operational stability.
- Support investigation and resolution of incidents affecting identity services and authentication platforms.
Security Governance & Compliance Coordination
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and IT Governance & Compliance teams to implement identity security controls aligned with organizational security frameworks.
- Support implementation of identity-related security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements across enterprise systems.
- Provide identity platform reporting and operational data required for security audits, compliance assessments, and governance reviews.
- Coordinate remediation actions to address identity-related compliance findings.
Identity Governance Processes & Standards
- Support implementation and maintenance of identity and access management processes and operational standards across enterprise platforms.
- Ensure IAM processes such as user provisioning, access reviews, and access approvals follow established organizational policies and security standards.
- Maintain documentation of identity management procedures and operational workflows.
Cross-Team Operational Support
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and workplace teams to ensure identity services support enterprise platforms and digital services.
- Provide operational support across identity platforms to maintain secure access to enterprise systems.
Vendor & Platform Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors supporting identity platforms and identity governance technologies.
- Support lifecycle management and operational maintenance of identity management systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal technology teams, business units, and relevant stakeholders to ensure identity and access management services support organizational systems and digital platforms.
- Support coordination across operational, security, and governance teams to maintain reliable and secure access to enterprise services and applications
