Assistant Manager Finance – Accounts Payable at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, reporting to the Director of Finance.
The role oversees hotel accounts payable operations and supports financial accuracy, compliance, supplier relationships, and process improvement.
The position works with Procurement, Receiving, Cost Control, operational departments, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead accounts payable operations and ensure accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments.
- Oversee supplier master data, vendor compliance, and accurate financial records.
- Support month-end close with accrual preparation, account reconciliations, and reporting.
- Manage supplier relationships and coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice, payment, and contract matters.
- Oversee contract reviews, renewals, approvals, compliance monitoring, and document management.
- Drive financial controls, audit readiness, and process improvements to improve efficiency and compliance.
Candidate profile
- Experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or financial control within a luxury hospitality or service-oriented environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, invoice processing, reconciliations, accruals, and supplier management.
- Experience managing contracts, vendor relationships, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
- Comfort with financial systems and ERP platforms and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Fluent English communication and a collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to compliance.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
