Role details

AV systems maintenance

• Maintain departmental knowledge and comply with policies, service procedures, and standards.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures for electrically powered equipment and use required PPE.
• Use testing instruments to isolate faults in wiring, connections, AV equipment, and systems.
• Inspect, clean, test, and maintain AV equipment; lubricate or replace components as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance, respond quickly to AV issues, and keep systems, distribution panels, and control systems functioning.
• Inspect lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits; promptly report unusual findings or safety hazards to engineering leadership.
• Ensure AV equipment and installations meet applicable safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory.

Event support

• Attend Banquet Event Order meetings to understand AV needs for upcoming events.
• Prepare and test event AV setups in advance; set up, operate, and maintain audio, video, and lighting equipment.
• Provide on-site technical support during events, resolve AV issues promptly, and help prevent interruptions.
• Ensure equipment, AV systems, MEP systems, and kitchen equipment operate smoothly.
