Overview
1.
Manage accounting, auditing, credit control and taxation functions across multiple business units and companies.
2.
Lead preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in full compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of MIS reports, financial records and schedules prepared for internal review and for audit.
3.
Cash Flow forecast and working capital management.
4.
Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit and lead company’s ICV (In-Country Value) certification process, ensuring all audit and compliance requirements are met.
5.
Accounts Payable & Receivable management : Supervise AR/AP processes to ensure timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly.
Address discrepancies and resolve payment issues efficiently.
6.
Oversee all tax compliance activities, including the preparation, review, and submission of tax returns.
Ensure adherence to applicable tax regulations and reporting deadlines.
7.
Maintain well-organized financial records to facilitate external audits and internal reviews.
Ensure strict adherence to internal control procedures and company financial policies.
8.
Oversee daily accounting activities including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations to ensure integrity and consistency of financial records.
9.
Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff to ensure effective performance of their duties.
10.
Any other responsibility as assigned my Reporting manager / management.
