About the Role
Takara Hospitality Group (THG) is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to support the Finance team with daily financial and administrative activities.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of basic accounting and finance processes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records and support the team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Finance team with daily financial and accounting activities.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain financial documents and records.
- Assist with invoices, receipts, payments, and expense documentation.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
- Enter and update financial data accurately in accounting systems.
- Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting activities.
- Follow up on pending invoices, payments, and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and Excel files.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments to collect required financial documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic knowledge may be considered.
- SOCPA certificate/membership is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience in F&B, restaurants, hospitality, or retail is an advantage.
- Good command of Arabic and English.
