Support the Director of Finance with hotel finance operations and assume departmental responsibilities when required.
Work with operational departments to provide financial guidance and controls.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, P&L analysis, and performance reports; support period-end closing.
- Review reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and other accounting transactions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Maintain compliance with financial policies, controls, SOPs, and accounting standards; monitor financial performance and risks.
- Review payroll and assist with internal and external audits and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi financial and tax requirements, including VAT and ZATCA.
- Supervise and develop the Finance team; support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Provide financial guidance and controls to operational departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of progressive Finance/Accounting experience; hospitality experience is preferred.
- Luxury hotel experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, P&L, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Good knowledge of Saudi VAT, ZATCA, and local financial compliance.
- SUN, Opera, Micros, or similar hotel systems experience is preferred.
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills; strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop a Finance team.
- SOCPA membership/certification is preferred; CPA, CMA, or equivalent is advantageous.
- Accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail are expected.
