Assistant Chef

About This Role

Job Purpose:

You will support daily kitchen and café operations by preparing and serving high-quality food and beverages, ensuring excellent presentation, consistency, and hygiene standards. You will also contribute to a welcoming environment and work closely with the team to deliver a positive customer experience in line with the Yatsudoki brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Proven work experience as a Kitchen / Pastry Chef
• Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
• Ensure all food is prepared to high quality standards and served in a timely manner
• Enforce safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards as per Municipality regulations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques, recipes, and industry trends
• Monitor food stock levels and place orders when required
• Monitor and maintain equipment quality and cleanliness
• Support smooth daily kitchen operations during busy service hours

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and during busy shifts
• Strong team player with a positive and energetic attitude
• Friendly, customer-focused, and dedicated to service excellence
• Flexible to work 6 days per week with a rotating weekly off
• Flexible with travel requirements and shift schedules

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,700.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
