Assistant Centre Supervisor

What you’ll do

• Assist the Centre Supervisor to meet the operational needs of the centre to enable orders to be prioritised and a high quality and timely service to be provided to clients. Troubleshoot equipment problems including; identifying and resolving problems where possible, replacing equipment in court when necessary, arranging repair and replacement and liaising with technical staff regarding new equipment. Assist the Centre Supervisor to allocate staff on a daily basis to monitor proceedings in multiple courts and tribunals (remotely or in person) to ensure effective use of resources and the provision of the service required. Ensure the continuing quality of transcripts. Provide on-going support and on the job training to Centre Staff as well as integrating new systems and staff along with Centre Supervisors into the centre to maintain up-to-date skills in the centre and to help facilitate the training. Provide quality customer service to ensure that the needs and expectations of both internal and external clients are met [i] What we’re looking for Extensive experience as a Sound Reporter or the ability to learn quickly. Extensive knowledge of, and ability to apply, Transcript Manual standards, or the ability to learn quickly.
