Assistant Accountant

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier and customer accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare payment vouchers and support monthly payroll processing.
• Maintain petty cash records and expense reports.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Support VAT documentation and financial reporting.
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors on finance-related matters.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
