Asset Management Officer joins the asset management team at Nissan Financial Services.
The role handles late-stage and complex collections matters, supports financed-vehicle recovery and remarketing, and follows regulatory and internal requirements.
Provides exposure to asset recovery, repossessions, external service providers, and vehicle remarketing.
Responsibilities
- Issue repossession notices in accordance with NCCP requirements and debt collection guidelines.
- Manage late-stage and complex collections accounts.
- Allocate recovery matters to approved Mercantile Agents and maintain service levels through the recovery process.
- Review and record agent updates; coordinate with Collection Officers to ensure accurate information is provided.
- Coordinate recovered-vehicle remarketing through approved Auction Houses and support strong recovery outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
About you
- Previous collections experience, ideally in financial services, and knowledge of debt collection processes.
- Experience managing or supporting complex collections accounts.
- Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and accurate record keeping.
- Confidence working with customers and external service providers and managing competing priorities.
- Strong customer and compliance focus.
- Experience in late-stage collections, vehicle finance, repossessions, asset recovery, mercantile agents, or vehicle remarketing is highly regarded.
