Assembler, Electrical, Poultry

Requirements:

• Knowledge and Skills:
• Associates degree in electrical or electro-mechanical technology or equivalent work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical theory, electrical meters and test equipment.
• The ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints. Working knowledge of bill of materials.
• Wiring skills in working with high voltage (480v) and low voltage (24v).
• The ability to trouble-shoot control circuits in an electrical panel.
• Demonstrated ability to meet safety, production, and quality requirements in assigned area.
• Computer skills in Microsoft applications, tracking software (Syteline, Shop-trak, etc.), PLC software downloading, and basic networking.
• Mechanical ability with basic knowledge of hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, drills, grinders, knockout punches, etc.
• Good oral and written communication skills. Safety and detail oriented.
• Experience:
• At least 2 years related experience using similar tools and measuring equipment.
• Supervisory Responsibility:
• None, but serves as a resource to others in the department and assists with orientation, training, troubleshooting and problem resolution as required.

• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. Ability to use full functionality of hands. Regularly required to lift and move 50 pounds. Ability to see and hear effectively.
