Job Summary

The Area Manager - Supermarket will be responsible for overseeing the operational performance, sales, and profitability of **multiple supermarket stores** within **Abu Dhabi** This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive operational excellence, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction across all assigned locations. The Area Manager will act as a crucial link between corporate strategy and store-level execution, ensuring consistent brand standards and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of 5-8 supermarket stores, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales, profit, and operational targets across all assigned stores.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a team of high-performing Store Managers, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess operational efficiency, merchandising standards, customer service levels, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Analyze financial reports, sales data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize inventory levels to maximize profitability and minimize waste.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives across all stores to drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Address and resolve complex operational issues, customer complaints, and employee relations matters in a timely and effective manner.
  • Champion a customer-centric culture, ensuring all stores provide an outstanding shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with various corporate departments (e.g., HR, Marketing, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless communication and support for store operations.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and local community needs to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, outlining achievements, challenges, and future plans.
