Role Overview

What You Will Do

• Understand customer needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans to grow sales.
• Monitor competition, market share, pricing, customer processes, and unmet customer needs.
• Develop relationships with plant and facility executives and execute sales plans for assigned accounts.
• Provide technical support, resolve complaints, analyze systems and data, and issue written recommendations.
• Sell and support Nalco Water innovations while protecting existing business and developing new revenue streams.
• Maintain field chemical inventories and equipment and deliver customer and internal reports.
• Mentor, coach, and train District Representatives and collaborate on cross-functional projects.

Territory and Work Conditions

• The candidate must reside in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.
• The route territory includes the Eastern region, Yanbu, and Riyadh.
• The role requires geographic and overnight business travel and the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 55 pounds or 25 kilograms chest high.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Five years of successful technical sales or field sales management experience.
• Ability to travel within a geographic territory and overnight for business.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering or life sciences degree, water treatment experience, or specialty chemical industry experience.
• Connections in the Saudi Water Authority or water production government projects.
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Microsoft Office literacy, autonomy, self-motivation, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Account leadership experience with plant or facilities management.
