Architectural Engineer

Role

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop architectural designs and plans for fuel stations and commercial facilities, following company brand identity and approved standards.
• Prepare, review, and approve execution and detailed shop drawings; develop façades and 3D renderings.
• Coordinate architectural plans with other engineering disciplines and ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code and relevant regulations.
• Review submissions from engineering offices, consultants, and contractors and provide technical comments.
• Design station canopies, commercial buildings, and service facilities; visit project sites to check completed work against approved plans.
• Propose solutions to improve space use and operational efficiency; prepare bills of quantities and specifications for architectural materials and finishes.
• Track design changes and update drawings to meet project requirements.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering or architecture.
• At least three years of practical experience in architectural design and preparing execution drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp; experience with Lumion, 3ds Max, and Enscape.
• Good knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and municipal and regulatory requirements.
• Commercial, fuel-station, and service-facility design experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to prepare detailed drawings, review engineering designs, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project management.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Arabic and English proficiency; technical report preparation is preferred.

Work location

• The role is based in Riyadh and includes visits to project sites.
