Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural shop drawings, detailed construction sections, interior fit-out details, and accurate as-built drawings.
- Cross-check architectural layouts against structural and MEP drawings and resolve clashes before site execution.
- Conduct site visits for precise measurements, verify construction against approved blueprints, and assist with BOQ preparation.
Requirements and qualifications
- At least 5 years of architectural drafting experience within Qatar or the GCC.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a related drafting certification.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit (BIM) is mandatory.
- Navisworks experience for clash detection is advantageous.
- Thorough understanding of GCC construction materials, methods, and arid-climate insulation standards.
- Strong English communication skills for coordinating with multinational teams, engineers, and contractors.
Candidate preferences
Candidates currently in Qatar who can join immediately are highly preferred.
