Lead creative and technical design for high-profile projects across a range of sectors.
Guide teams through the design process while balancing design ambition, technical quality, commercial realities, and client needs.
Responsibilities
- Own architectural projects from concept through delivery and champion a clear design vision.
- Build client and stakeholder partnerships; lead design reviews, feasibility studies, and validation.
- Guide teams on design, construction methods, regulations, and industry best practice.
- Collaborate with BIM, engineering, and technical specialists.
- Contribute technical input to proposals, tenders, and presentations to support winning new work.
- Mentor team members, foster knowledge-sharing, and introduce technologies and progressive approaches.
Candidate requirements
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent and around 15+ years of architectural design experience.
- Proven experience leading complex projects and managing design delivery.
- Strong design flair, technical depth, and creative problem-solving ability.
- Experience in multidisciplinary consultancy environments.
- Excellent client and stakeholder relationship skills and clear, influential communication.
- Confidence with industry-standard design software and BIM tools.
- Experience leading and developing people.
