Architect Specialist

Role overview

Project leadership and design

• Lead flagship projects from scope definition through execution, handover, and post-opening review.
• Manage B and C projects by producing and adapting technical design packages for implementation.
• Translate concepts into construction-ready packages that account for feasibility, regulations, and technical constraints.
• Produce architectural plans, layouts, and technical documentation aligned with briefs, brand guidelines, and operational needs.
• Review drawings, materials, finishes, and technical solutions; support selections that balance aesthetics, function, and cost.

Coordination and delivery

• Coordinate with headquarters architecture, purchasing, visual merchandising, construction teams, contractors, and suppliers.
• Act as a key stakeholder contact and drive accountability across the project chain.
• Support tendering, procurement, site follow-up, and implementation.
• Identify risks, resolve technical issues, and adapt plans to maintain timelines and quality.
• Conduct site visits, monitor progress, verify design intent, and report to headquarters.
• Oversee execution quality, address on-site issues, and ensure compliance with Maison, local, and sustainability standards.

Project monitoring and brand alignment

• Build and monitor schedules, milestones, and deliverables according to project complexity.
• Support budget control and design-to-cost optimization, particularly for flagship projects.
• Track timelines, costs, quality, and operational readiness; report risks, delays, and mitigation actions.
• Ensure projects reflect Maison identity, client experience ambitions, and operational needs; adapt global guidelines to local realities.
• Communicate technical requirements, timelines, and priorities to internal and external partners.

Profile

• Architect with 4–5 years of retail design experience, ideally in beauty and cosmetics.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office packages, and Adobe Suite.
• Strong understanding of general contracting works and ability to follow boutique construction and support site execution.
• Design- and quality-oriented, with a strong eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional and partner collaboration.
• Ownership and accountability from project initiation through completion.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Positive, collaborative, solution-oriented, with a can-do attitude and strong team spirit.

Location and travel

• Position is based in Dubai; travel is required.
