Responsibilities

• Own and define the Salesforce architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise technology and business strategies.
• Design scalable solutions using out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities, including Flows, Dynamic Forms, Approval Processes, OmniStudio, Einstein AI, and platform functionality before custom development.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement AppExchange applications, managed packages, and third-party plugins.
• Lead architecture and design sessions for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and future Salesforce initiatives.
• Establish integration patterns and oversee external-system integrations using REST APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with product, analysis, development, and business stakeholders.
• Provide architecture leadership, governance, and mentorship to Salesforce administrators, developers, and technical leads.
• Drive security, data architecture, compliance, scalability, performance, optimization, and design review practices.
• Support release management, environment strategy, and deployment governance with DevOps and delivery teams.
• Reverse engineer existing Salesforce designs and recommend alignment with out-of-the-box best practices.

Requirements

• Requires 10+ years of progressive Salesforce experience, including significant solution and platform architecture experience.
• Requires expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Platform.
• Requires experience maximizing out-of-the-box functionality and reducing unnecessary customization.
• Requires experience evaluating and implementing AppExchange apps, managed packages, and third-party Salesforce solutions.
• Requires expert knowledge of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, role hierarchies, permission sets, governance, and compliance.
• Requires extensive enterprise integration experience with REST APIs and middleware.
• Requires knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, master data management, large data volumes, and performance optimization.
• Requires working knowledge of Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components to guide technical design and development.
• Requires technical team leadership and executive stakeholder collaboration in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Requires experience with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD tools such as Gearset.
• Salesforce Application Architect and/or Salesforce System Architect certification is required.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification is highly preferred.
