Role overview
The Senior Pega Business Analyst bridges business objectives and technical execution for commercial banking and lending.
The role supports Pega platform solutions and automated workflows for the commercial lending lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder workshops to capture complex lending workflows, credit structuring, risk approvals, and onboarding requirements.
- Map business needs to Pega artifacts, including DCO, case types, stages, steps, and data models.
- Design and optimize corporate and commercial lending user journeys for compliance and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain the product backlog in Jira.
- Liaise between business units and IT to keep technical designs aligned with business intent.
Required skills and qualifications
- Deep understanding of commercial banking operations, corporate client profiles, and institutional financial workflows.
- Strong grasp of commercial lending, including loan origination systems, credit risk, collateral management, underwriting, and servicing.
- Proven business analyst experience on Pega implementations; understanding of Pega capabilities, case management, and DCO tools.
- Pega 8.x experience is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
- Pega Certified Business Architect certification is highly preferred.
- Middle Eastern banking regulations, regional compliance standards such as SAMA, Islamic finance, or regional commercial lending familiarity is an advantage.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including confidence engaging senior corporate banking executives.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and process-mapping capabilities.
