Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Project Engineer to oversee building construction projects in the UAE from planning through completion.
The role focuses on high-rise and tower construction, project coordination, site management, documentation, safety, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction activities from start to finish.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare RFIs, submittals, progress reports, and project documentation.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Monitor project costs and support contract administration.
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, codes, and permit requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least six years of experience in high-rise building construction in the UAE.
- Strong experience in building and tower construction projects.
- Experience in construction project coordination and site management.
- Knowledge of construction methods, quality control, and safety standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, scheduling, and documentation abilities.
Employment and Compensation
- The position is full-time.
- Pay is AED 8,000 to AED 10,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person in Sharjah.
- Applicants should be able to reliably commute to Sharjah or plan to relocate before starting.
Additional Preferences
- Arabic language ability is preferred.
- Seven years of project engineer experience is preferred.
