Overview
- Administer and maintain enterprise application systems and databases.
- Monitor application performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Configure application settings and manage user access permissions.
- Support the implementation of new applications and system enhancements.
- Coordinate software upgrades, patches, and version releases.
- Provide first and second-line support for application-related issues.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system incidents and user-reported problems.
- Liaise with software vendors and service providers for technical support and issue resolution.
- Maintain records of incidents, requests, and system changes.
- Analyse user requirements and recommend system improvements.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and implementation of new functionalities.
- Assist in business process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, user manuals, and technical procedures.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality across applications.
- Generate and analyse system reports to support management decision-making.
- Assist in data migration, integration, and validation activities.
- Monitor database performance and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with information security policies and procedures.
- Monitor application access controls and user authorisations.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities related to application systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications are desirable.
