Role Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible responsible for supporting Distributor’s for application and sales support for all unitary range of products.
Optimizing the product selection and quotation offer in line with the consultant design specs and preparing submittals for projects.
Required to streamline the export territory product portfolio, spare parts and price list along with the Territory Sales Manager.
Acting as support to sales and developing a good working relationship with distributors and customers in the territory responsible to develop SKM sales business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application
- Provide design and specification support to consultants in the Export market
- Respond to commercial and technical inquiries like price inquiries, units selection and technical submittals
- Listen, understand and convey customer requirements
- provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education by performing technical/ product training for sales people and engineers at targeted accounts
- Assist in the design and development of new products and tools necessary to make target accounts comfortable and successful at selling SKM products
- Keep the Sales Management Tool system (SMT) updated all the time to ensure proper feedback is provided to the management about the market.
- Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
- Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases.
- Maintain professional business relationships within target accounts.
- Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
- Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3-8 years’ experience in Air Conditioning field.
- Technical knowledge of HVAC machines.
- Market knowledge particularly in Northern Emirates/ Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
- Good knowledge in using CRM system and selection software.
- Wide knowledge in VRF selection, Application & Sales
- Deep understanding of the importance of forecast and meeting sales numbers.
