The role builds technical knowledge of the company's applications, systems, and products and develops relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- Collect and summarize customer expectations about system and product requests, including deliverables.
- Listen to customer feedback, respond with informed solutions, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Build and strengthen networks within the company and with customers.
- Work on assigned tasks and identify growth opportunities in familiar areas.
- Adapt approaches to customer size and type, including OEM and distributor customers.
- Suggest solutions, seek help for challenges beyond expertise, and propose process improvements.
- Pursue self-improvement, adapt to change, and collaborate to solve problems.
- Set goals within established guidelines and supervision, work toward objectives, and communicate obstacles.
- Maintain customer and team relationships with empathy, integrity, respect, and a commitment to collaboration.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering background with a minimum of 5 years of experience with mobile and industrial hydraulics systems.
- Effective communication with customers and team members in English and the candidate's native language.
- Ability to assist in breaking down complex problems.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Understanding of customer needs and expectations.
- Willingness to travel to customers for relationship building and tailored technical support.
- Ability to set personal goals aligned with team objectives.
