Application Analyst

Role overview

Primary duties

• Configure work and asset management systems, manage upgrades and changes, and troubleshoot operational issues through research and testing.
• Design end-to-end solutions to improve asset and workforce management systems.
• Identify data quality issues and establish procedures and validations to improve information quality.
• Develop and maintain workflow and information models for business processes and information flows.
• Partner with business leads and subject matter experts to address customer pain points and business objectives.
• Provide user support, training, and documentation for systems and mobile devices.
• Gather requirements, coordinate testing, and help develop and implement solutions for enhancement projects.
• Coordinate with IT on integrations and customizations.

Required qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least five years of related experience.
• Customer service focus, ability to develop trusted relationships, and ability to work strategically and operationally.
• Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications and undergo a security clearance.

Assets

• Knowledge of IBM Maximo Asset Management and/or UKG (Kronos), Azure DevOps, or ARIS products is considered an asset.
• Experience with ESRI, GIS solutions, and scripting languages is considered an asset.
• Advanced technical training in SQL, Power BI, and/or SAP Business Objects is an asset.

Workstyle and location

• The position may be eligible for work from home for at least part of the time, subject to operational needs and other stated conditions.
• The listed work location is 625 25 Avenue SE, Calgary.

Position and compensation

• This is a temporary position for up to 18 months.
• Compensation is $46.21–$61.78 per hour, Pay Grade 11.
• The role has a standard 35-hour work week and a five-day work week with one day off in a three-week cycle.
