Analytics Manager

Role purpose

KPI framework and planning

• Design and maintain a connected KPI tree from North Star to primary and secondary functional KPIs.
• Give each KPI one owner, one certified definition, and a clear link to the KPI above it.
• Own the analytical side of annual and quarterly planning.
• Build driver-based models to simulate targets and check that functional targets add up to company targets.
• Run scenarios for leadership and Finance and defend assumptions.

Reporting and priorities

• Own monthly and quarterly performance reports and explain material misses or beats through their drivers and recommended actions.
• Set quarterly data-backed focus areas for each function and track recommendation adoption and KPI impact.
• Design experiments and post-launch measurement for key initiatives.
• Enforce certified metrics, definition control, and dashboard hygiene; ensure leadership forums use certified numbers.

Team and operating system

• Hire, coach, and grow the analyst team and review work for logic and quality.
• Write role scorecards and SOPs for every analyst and assign each an associated business function.
• Run demand intake and prioritization so the team focuses on high-value work rather than ad hoc pulls.

Required qualifications

• 6–8+ years in analytics, including 2+ years leading analysts.
• Experience in a scale-up consumer marketplace or two-sided platform such as travel, rideshare, delivery, or e-commerce.
• Owned an executive-level KPI framework, planning models, and performance reviews.
• Built or matured an analytics function beyond reporting.
• Advanced SQL and BI tools; BigQuery is preferred, and Metabase or a similar tool is specified.
• Strong forecasting, scenario modeling, variance analysis, and experimentation.
• Strong written and spoken English with board-ready communication.

Preferred qualifications

• Arabic language ability.
• GCC or MENA market experience.
• Experience scoping data science use cases.
