Position summary

Revenue management work

• Assist with room inventory management, rate strategy, room authorizations, rates, and restrictions.
• Prepare competitive analysis and supporting materials for market sales strategy meetings.
• Complete month-end reporting and auditing and provide information for forecasting and targeting need areas.
• Generate and update property and market reports and support team reporting and analytical needs.
• Maintain system data and checks, including rate hurdles, forecasted demand, group forecasts, and daily system checks.
• Assist with training associates on revenue management tools and implementing hotel sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems.

General duties and standards

• Follow company policies, protect confidential information and assets, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Welcome guests, address service needs, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
• Meet quality assurance standards and perform other reasonable duties as requested.
• Read and verify information in different formats; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and handle items weighing up to 15 pounds without assistance.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is listed; no license or certification is specified.
