Independent Alarm Management Specialist sought for a UAE offshore oil and gas project.
Short-term engagement, freelance or through the candidate's firm.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate an ISA-18.2 / IEC 62682 alarm rationalisation workshop.
- Carry safeguards from HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL outputs into alarm priorities.
Qualifications and experience
- 10+ years in process control, operations, or process safety in oil and gas.
- Alarm rationalisation facilitation to ISA-18.2, IEC 62682, or EEMUA 191 on at least three projects.
- Read HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL outputs and carry safeguards into alarm priorities.
- Exida AMP certificate or equivalent formal alarm management training.
- Yokogawa CENTUM VP alarm configuration and AAA experience.
- Oil and gas project experience and familiarity with AGES-PH-04-003 or its current AGPS equivalent.
- TÜV FS Engineer or CFSE functional safety credential.
- UAE-based.
