Job Summary

We are looking for a

highly motivated and technically proficient Aftermarket Sales Engineer

to manage and grow the aftermarket business for

centrifugal pumps

across Saudi Arabia.

The role involves promoting

spare parts, service contracts, retrofits, and repair services

, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new
  • aftermarket sales opportunities
  • for centrifugal pumps across assigned territories.
  • Promote and sell
  • spare parts, repair services, site support, performance upgrades, and long-term service agreements (LTSA)
  • .
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new accounts in the

Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Water

  • sectors.
  • Conduct
  • site surveys, inspections, and troubleshooting
  • of pump performance issues.
  • Coordinate with
  • service centers, OEMs, and supply chain teams
  • to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Prepare and submit
  • technically and commercially competitive proposals
  • .
  • Work closely with
  • engineering and service teams
  • to offer tailored technical solutions.
  • Monitor
  • market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • to identify business opportunities.
  • Prepare
  • sales forecasts, activity reports, and pipeline updates

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 6–8 years of experience
  • in sales or service of centrifugal pumps or rotating equipment.
  • Strong understanding of
  • pump internals, repair methodologies, and basic hydraulics
  • .
  • Familiarity with major OEMs such as

Sulzer, Flowserve, KSB, Sundyne

, etc.

• Valid Saudi Driving License

  • and willingness to travel extensively across the Kingdom.
  • Excellent
  • communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • .
  • Proficiency in

English

(Arabic is an advantage).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with

SAP / CRM systems

  • Established
  • client network
  • in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Water sectors.
  • Knowledge of
  • API 610 standards
  • and pump performance calculations.

  • Prepare detailed technical reports, service documentation, and customer communications, including clear explanations of findings and recommended actions.
  • Deliver training sessions to customers and internal teams on pump operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols, fostering knowledge transfer.
  • Analyze pump performance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, reduce downtime, and minimize operational costs.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to address customer inquiries, resolve technical challenges, and improve product offerings.
  • Manage warranty claims, coordinate spare parts procurement, and ensure timely resolution of customer issues, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current with advancements in centrifugal pump technology, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, continuously enhancing technical expertise.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed, both domestically and internationally, to provide on-site support and build strong customer relationships.
