Promote core products and cross-sell other bank products within an assigned business territory against financial targets.
Sales and customer responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and build a new customer base.
- Promote core products in the assigned area or workplace.
- Build and maintain effective customer relationships.
- Conduct promotional activities, meetings, and road shows in the assigned area.
- Ensure customer applications and documentation are complete and error-free; follow up on approved deferrals and correct errors or resubmit documents.
- Provide sales MIS to the Team Leader and regular Sales DSR reports to the Sales Manager.
- Share ongoing customer and market feedback to improve business.
- Provide high customer service and accurate product information.
- Follow conduct, ethics, and KYC document authentication requirements.
- Recommend applications considered good credit risks and consistent with bank policy.
- Maintain relationships with branches, internal departments, teammates, and supervisors.
- Handle routine complaints professionally, escalate significant issues, and report suspected fraud or unethical incidents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; university degree preferred.
- Sales diploma or certification desirable.
- 1 to 2 years of experience selling banking products or working in the financial industry.
Skills and competencies
- Knowledge of FAB retail products, strong sales skills, and customer focus.
- Adherence to policies, processes, and procedures; competitive awareness and benchmarking.
- Portfolio growth, customer satisfaction, service excellence, and multicultural awareness.
