About This Role

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Managing the customer customs deposit account in excel with proper reconciliation on real time basis.

  • Posting of various custom duty related bank entries into accounting software Oracle, Tally.

  • Customer and vendor reconciliations with respect to the border charges and custom duty payments.

  • Liaising with the clearance team in Saudi Arabia for timely closure of daily and monthly reports.

  • Daily bank reconciliations.

  • Support accounts payable accountant as back up support.

  • Daily cash reconciliations.

  • To ensure compliance with local accounting methods, policies and principles in UAE and KSA.

  • Responsible for monthly and yearly closing of books of accounts.

  • Should work in close co-ordination with the teams in group companies based across UAE and KSA.

  • Responsible for inter-company reconciliations along with the necessary supporting.

  • Prepare daily & weekly reports as requested by the Management.

  • Maintain strong professional relationship with both internal and external customers.

  • Actively support the internal & external audits.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Keeping the issues open for long time without closing them.

  • Delay in closing the daily entries and books of accounts.

  • Keeping the accounts upto date along with intercompany reconciliation.

  • Internal customer satisfaction survey
