About This Role

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for accuracy.

You should be capable to responsibilities related to both accounting.

Job Description

  • 1.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Company’s finance department and related companies, including:
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • General ledger entries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Month-end and year-end closings
  • 2.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • 3.
  • Reports: Process invoices, payments and expense reports for the Company and related entities.
  • 4.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, regulations and tax requirements for the Company and its affiliated companies.
  • 5.
  • Audit Support: Assist with annual audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations for all relevant entities.
  • 6.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate financial records, both physically and electronically, in accordance with UAE requirements.
  • 7.
  • Tax preparation: Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • 8.
  • Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Accounting Skills: Proficient in accounting software and financial management. Knowledge of IFRS and other accounting standards. Familiarity with UAE tax regulations, including VAT.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage both accounting and reception tasks effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Customer Service: Friendly and professional demeanor, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records
  • Passion and desire to get things done.
  • Openness to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Spirit of teamwork

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month plus benefits
