Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for accuracy.
You should be capable to responsibilities related to both accounting.
Job Description
- 1.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Company’s finance department and related companies, including:
- Accounts payable and receivable
- General ledger entries
- Bank reconciliations
- Month-end and year-end closings
- 2.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- 3.
- Reports: Process invoices, payments and expense reports for the Company and related entities.
- 4.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, regulations and tax requirements for the Company and its affiliated companies.
- 5.
- Audit Support: Assist with annual audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations for all relevant entities.
- 6.
- Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate financial records, both physically and electronically, in accordance with UAE requirements.
- 7.
- Tax preparation: Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents in compliance with relevant regulations.
- 8.
- Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Accounting Skills: Proficient in accounting software and financial management. Knowledge of IFRS and other accounting standards. Familiarity with UAE tax regulations, including VAT.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage both accounting and reception tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Customer Service: Friendly and professional demeanor, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Tech Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records
- Passion and desire to get things done.
- Openness to giving and receiving feedback.
- Spirit of teamwork
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month plus benefits
