Role Description
We are seeking an Accountant/Software Engineer for a part-time hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for remote work.
In this dual-function position, you will oversee financial management tasks such as bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting, while also contributing to software engineering projects, including developing tools related to regulatory analytics and compliance solutions.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between finance and software offerings, ensuring precision and efficiency in both domains.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting practices such as financial reporting, budgeting, and bookkeeping.
- Expertise in software engineering, including familiarity with coding, programming languages, and software development life cycles.
- Ability to develop and maintain tools for regulatory analytics and compliance support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to bridge technical and financial tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to handle diverse responsibilities efficiently in a part-time role.
- Experience with EU pharmaceutical regulatory processes is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, with experience in both domains highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
