Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for an Accountant / Software Engineer at MEC Call, located in Abu Dhabi.
The position requires a blend of accounting tasks and software development responsibilities.
Day-to-day tasks may include managing financial records, preparing reports, developing and maintaining software solutions relevant to financial processes, and collaborating with other team members.
The role will involve both in-office work and the flexibility to work from home for some tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in software programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar, and experience developing software solutions
- Experience with financial software and tools, as well as basic understanding of database management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability to balance accounting tasks with software engineering responsibilities in a hybrid working environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related fields
- Experience with regulatory compliance in financial processes is a plus
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies is an asset
