Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized
Accountant
with experience in automotive garages or service centers to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts receivable and payable, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
Candidates with experience in service center accounting and strong knowledge of accounting software and bookkeeping practices will be given preference.
Job Description
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in an automotive garage or service center is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records and bookkeeping.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with VAT documentation and filings.
- Prepare financial reports as required by management.
- Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of financial documents.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and UAE VAT regulations.
