The Accountant will maintain financial records, prepare reports, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to accounting projects.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in line with accounting standards and regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with budgets and forecasts and assess financial trends.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions to support timely payments and collections.
- Prepare annual audit documentation and liaise with external auditors.
- Monitor financial performance metrics and recommend improvements to management.
- Apply current accounting regulations and best practices to improve internal processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for business initiatives.
- Train and guide junior accounting staff.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, communication, and time management.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
