Job Summary

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS or applicable standards.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports.

2. Audit Support

• Assist in external and internal audit engagements.
• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Address audit queries and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

3. Client Management

• Handle accounting functions for multiple clients across various industries.
• Maintain books of accounts, including AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Act as a primary point of contact for client queries and reporting needs.

4. Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and review VAT returns and other statutory filings.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax regulations.

5. Team Supervision

• Review work performed by junior accountants and associates.
• Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Ensure adherence to firm policies and quality standards.

6. Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Evaluate and strengthen internal control processes.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails.

7. Financial Analysis & Advisory

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to clients.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Advise clients on cost control and process improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting/audit firms.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, tally or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
