A growing **joinery, interior fit-out, renovation, and maintenance company** is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Accountant & Operations Executive** to join our team.
This is a **hands-on role** where you will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day accounting functions while also supporting operations, administration, and customer coordination.
The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilitiesaccounting & Finance
- Maintain company accounts using **QuickBooks**
- Record **journal entries** and maintain accurate **double-entry bookkeeping**
- Prepare monthly financial reports and account reconciliations
- Manage **accounts receivable and accounts payable**
- Prepare, issue, and reconcile customer invoices
- Follow up outstanding payments and customer statements
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
- Prepare **salary sheets**, overtime calculations, payroll summaries, and staff deductions
- Maintain staff attendance records and coordinate payroll data
- Prepare and assist with **VAT filing** and maintain VAT records
- Maintain petty cash records and expense tracking
- Assist management with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting
Operations & Administration
- Maintain organized records of quotations, invoices, LPOs, contracts, and project files
- Support procurement documentation and supplier coordination
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and site teams
- Handle customer calls, WhatsApp messages, and email correspondence when required
- Assist with scheduling, document preparation, and general office administration
- Ensure company records and documentation remain accurate and up to date
Requirements
- Minimum **3 years UAE experience** in accounting
- Strong working knowledge of **QuickBooks**
- Excellent understanding of:
- Double-entry accounting
- Journal entries
- Accounts receivable & payable
- Bank reconciliation
- Invoice reconciliation
- Payroll processing
- Overtime calculations
- Attendance management
- VAT filing
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in **construction, maintenance, manufacturing, or fit-out companies** is highly preferred
- Must be currently based in the UAE
- Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per hour
