Overview

A growing **joinery, interior fit-out, renovation, and maintenance company** is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Accountant & Operations Executive** to join our team.

This is a **hands-on role** where you will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day accounting functions while also supporting operations, administration, and customer coordination.

The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilitiesaccounting & Finance

  • Maintain company accounts using **QuickBooks**
  • Record **journal entries** and maintain accurate **double-entry bookkeeping**
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and account reconciliations
  • Manage **accounts receivable and accounts payable**
  • Prepare, issue, and reconcile customer invoices
  • Follow up outstanding payments and customer statements
  • Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
  • Prepare **salary sheets**, overtime calculations, payroll summaries, and staff deductions
  • Maintain staff attendance records and coordinate payroll data
  • Prepare and assist with **VAT filing** and maintain VAT records
  • Maintain petty cash records and expense tracking
  • Assist management with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting

Operations & Administration

  • Maintain organized records of quotations, invoices, LPOs, contracts, and project files
  • Support procurement documentation and supplier coordination
  • Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and site teams
  • Handle customer calls, WhatsApp messages, and email correspondence when required
  • Assist with scheduling, document preparation, and general office administration
  • Ensure company records and documentation remain accurate and up to date

Requirements

  • Minimum **3 years UAE experience** in accounting
  • Strong working knowledge of **QuickBooks**
  • Excellent understanding of:
  • Double-entry accounting
  • Journal entries
  • Accounts receivable & payable
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Invoice reconciliation
  • Payroll processing
  • Overtime calculations
  • Attendance management
  • VAT filing
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in **construction, maintenance, manufacturing, or fit-out companies** is highly preferred
  • Must be currently based in the UAE
  • Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per hour
