About Us
Dargan Diamonds is a growing fine jewellery brand in Dubai specialising in diamond and gold jewellery.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Accountant** with jewellery accounting experience who can also manage **AML / Compliance responsibilities** for the business.
Accounting & Finance
- Manage daily bookkeeping, journal entries, reconciliations, and accounts management
- Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and management reports
- Handle receivables, payables, supplier payments, and cash flow tracking
- Reconcile POS, website, Shopify, and bank transactions
- Prepare VAT workings and support filings
- Monitor gross margins, expenses, and profitability
- Manage payroll and staff expense records
Jewellery Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate gold, diamond, and jewellery stock records
- Perform stock reconciliations and valuation checks
- Monitor stock movement, memo stock, and shrinkage controls
AML / Compliance Responsibilities
- Handle AML compliance requirements for jewellery business operations
- Conduct KYC / customer due diligence for applicable transactions
- Maintain transaction monitoring records
- Prepare and maintain compliance files and internal registers
- Coordinate required reporting submissions and deadlines
- Ensure internal AML policies are followed and updated
- Liaise with management regarding suspicious or reportable activity where required
Requirements
- Minimum **3+ years accounting experience**
- Prior **jewellery industry experience strongly preferred**
- Previous **AML / Compliance experience** in UAE preferred
- Knowledge of jewellery stock systems, margins, making charges, gold movement
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills (Tally)
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
- Organised, trustworthy, confidential, and proactive
- Hindi speaking is an advantage but not a deal breaker

- Comfortable working in a fast-growing business environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
