About This Role
Job Purpose
The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy of transactions, and supporting the organization with timely financial reporting and compliance.
General Accounting
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
- Record daily transactions including invoices, receipts, and payments
- Ensure accuracy of accounts payable and receivable
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing
- Support preparation of management reports
Reconciliation
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Identify and resolve discrepancies
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Maintain proper documentation and records
Budgeting & Support
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
- Monitor expenses and highlight variances
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting
- Experience with:
- Financial reporting
- AP/AR processes
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
