BastionEx is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support day-to-day financial operations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.
Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
· Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis to provide management with timely and accurate financial information.
· Assist in the development and monitoring of the organization's budget, ensuring that expenditures are in line with budgetary constraints and providing analysis of variances as needed.
· Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
· Assist in the preparation for external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and analysis as requested by auditors, and implement any recommendations for improvement that arise from audit findings.
**·** Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and provide insights and recommendations to management based on findings.
· Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and provide guidance to management on potential impacts to the organization.
· Work closely with other departments, such as finance, operations, and procurement, to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and support cross-functional initiatives.
· Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, leveraging financial expertise to contribute to the achievement of organizational goals

Should have knowledge to do PRO related work like visa processing and labor contacts and assist the HR with all such needs.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate environment in UAE
· Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
· Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial information.
· Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices through professional development and training opportunities
