About This Role
ob Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial accuracy, reporting, and cost control, contributing to the company’s overall financial health.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (AP, AR, GL)
- Record daily entries, invoices, receipts, and payments
- Ensure proper documentation and filing for all financial activities
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Manage vendor payments and ensure timely processing
- Track incoming payments and follow up on outstanding receivables
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly
Bank & Cash Management
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis
- Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity
- Handle petty cash and expense tracking
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in preparation of profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Provide insights on financial performance and cost optimization
Compliance & Taxation (UAE)
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations
- Prepare and file VAT returns accurately and on time
- Maintain records for audits and regulatory requirements
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring
- Track expenses against budget and highlight variances
- Support management in cost-saving initiatives
Audit Support
- Coordinate with internal/external auditors
- Ensure all financial records are audit-ready
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of VAT and UAE financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or similar)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus
- Experience in holiday homes, real estate, or hospitality sector
- Ability to handle multi-entity accounting
