Accountant

Overview

Key Responsibilitiesfinancial Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate records of all **financial transactions** (AP, AR, GL)
• Record daily entries, invoices, receipts, and payments
• Ensure proper **documentation and filing** for all financial activities

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage **vendor payments** and ensure timely processing
• Track incoming payments and follow up on **outstanding receivables**
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly

Bank & Cash Management

• Perform **bank reconciliations** on a regular basis
• Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity
• Handle petty cash and expense tracking

Financial Reporting

• Prepare **monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports**
• Assist in preparation of **profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports**
• Provide insights on financial performance and cost optimization

Compliance & Taxation (Uae)

• Ensure compliance with **UAE VAT regulations**
• Prepare and file **VAT returns** accurately and on time
• Maintain records for audits and regulatory requirements

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Assist in **budget preparation and monitoring**
• Track expenses against budget and highlight variances
• Support management in **cost-saving initiatives**

Audit Support

• Coordinate with internal/external auditors
• Ensure all financial records are audit-ready

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or related field**
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of **VAT and UAE financial regulations**
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., **QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or similar**)
• Advanced skills in **Microsoft Excel**
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus
• Experience in **holiday homes, real estate, or hospitality sector**
• Ability to handle **multi-entity accounting**
