About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Seasoned Accountant with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end accounting functions.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial reporting, UAE VAT compliance, and accounting software such as Zoho Books, SAP, Xero, and Tally ERP.
The candidate should also be capable of managing a small accounting team, coordinating back-office operations, and ensuring client reporting deadlines are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete accounting cycle from journal entries to finalization of accounts.
- Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure smooth back-office operations.
- Ensure client reporting deadlines are met accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts using Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reviews.
- Ensure VAT compliance and timely filing of VAT returns in accordance with UAE regulations.
- Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and expense control.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
- Manage and effectively supervise the back office team in the execution of tasks.
- Mentor and coach junior team members and ensure junior team members deliver quality work in a timely fashion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACCA / CA (Qualified, Part-qualified, or currently pursuing).
- 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an accounting or consultancy firm.
- Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books, SAP, Xero, and Tally ERP.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team management abilities.
