Accountant

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Supervise and guide the Accounts Assistant in daily accounting activities.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Verify invoices, payment vouchers, expense claims, and supporting documents.
• Process supplier payments and monitor outstanding balances.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation during audits.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare payroll support information and related financial reconciliations if required.
• Generate management reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CMA, CA Inter, CPA, or equivalent) will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum **3–5 years of experience** in accounting or finance roles.
• Experience in **UAE accounting practices and ERP systems** preferred.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in **MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems**.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accuracy.
• Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
