Role overview
The employer is seeking a detail-oriented accountant with experience in inter-branch accounting and operations in the retail or restaurant industry.
Key responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage inter-branch transactions, transfers, and reconciliations.
- Reconcile cash sales, bank transactions, and daily sales reports.
- Monitor branch expenses, petty cash, and supplier payments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accounting reports.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain documentation, invoices, and receipts.
- Coordinate with branch managers and other departments on accounting matters.
- Assist with month-end closing and other accounting tasks as required.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Inter-branch accounting experience is required.
- Previous retail or restaurant industry experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay
- AED 2,000–3,000 per month.
