Overview
The Account Manager – GDS Systems will be responsible for managing customer relationships, driving business growth, and supporting the sales of GDS and related technology solutions.
The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, maintaining strong client engagement, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions that meet customer business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing enterprise and corporate customers.
- Identify new business opportunities for GDS systems.
- Develop account plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and solution discussions.
- Coordinate with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and contract documentation.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and support.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Support negotiation and closure of business opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within GDS Systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in GDS systems such as Galileo, Sabre, or Amadeus.
- Strong understanding of enterprise customer management and solution selling.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and business priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Qatar market experience and customer network will be an advantage.
