AC Technician (with Chiller System Expertise)

We are seeking a GCC-experienced AC Technician to join our Facilities Management team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various air conditioning systems, including split units, cassette units, ducted units, package units, and chillers.

Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in chiller systems is mandatory.

Installation & Maintenance: Install, inspect, and maintain air conditioning systems, ensuring optimum performance through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults in AC systems.

Perform refrigerant recovery and recycling in compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Chiller Systems (Mandatory): Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and basic repairs on chiller systems.

Monitor chiller performance and ensure efficient operation.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and promptly report major faults or repair requirements.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere to company HSE policies, HVAC industry standards, and all applicable safety regulations while carrying out maintenance activities.

Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in Refrigeration & HVAC Systems or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of GCC experience in AC installation and maintenance within the Facilities Management industry.

Mandatory Requirement: Proven hands-on experience in chiller maintenance and troubleshooting.

Proficient in servicing and maintaining split, cassette, ducted, package, and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems.

Strong knowledge and practical experience in chiller systems (mandatory).

Ability to diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults.

Knowledge of refrigerant handling and HVAC safety standards.

Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Minimum 5 years of GCC experience in Facilities Management.

Hands-on experience with chiller maintenance and troubleshooting is mandatory.

Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergency maintenance calls.
